Aztec Hunting Resort (formerly known as La Loma) is situated in the heart of whitewing dove country.
The resident grain fields are virtually plagued by huge numbers of birds. The drought that had been experienced for a number of years finally broke in the spring of 1997. The rains came and the doves are back in droves, making the quality and quantity of shooting
unbelievable - just like in the good old days.
Description of Hunting or Fishing Environment
The whitewing's fast flying feeding frenzies offer some of the world's most consistent shooting. Their acrobatic
maneuvers - darting and twisting - as they literally swarm in from all angles makes for challenging, fun and exciting sport. The quickness of the flight and the evasive tactics require spontaneous, instinctive shooting!
The resort, being close to the immense concentrations of birds, affords you short drives to the fields. Your every hunt is impeccably organized with reliable vehicles, timely departures, a superb hunting staff and attention to critical details such as daily scouting. Twenty plus years of experience is evident from the hunt to the services and amenities at the lodge. Truly, masters of the hunt!
